ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a safe, evidence-based therapy used alongside physiotherapy to reduce pain, support healing, and restore movement.

Recognised by the AACP and the NHS, it works by stimulating the nervous system to release natural pain-relieving chemicals and improve blood flow to injured tissue.

It's commonly used for back and neck pain, shoulder and knee injuries, arthritis, muscle tension, sports injuries, headaches, and post-surgical stiffness.

Pelvic HEALTH

As many as 1 in 3 women will experience pelvic floor issues at some point, yet many live with symptoms for years without knowing effective treatment exists.

Pelvic health physiotherapy commonly treats:

  • Diastasis recti (tummy separation)

  • Urinary incontinence — including leaking when coughing, jumping, or with sudden urgency

  • Pelvic organ prolapse

  • Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain (formerly known as SPD)

  • Vaginismus (pain with sexual relations)
