Tom is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and an Honorary Assistant Professor at The University of Nottingham.
He specialises in prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, including robotic prostatectomy using the da Vinci Surgical System and hydrogel spacer placement for prostate radiotherapy.

Tom graduated with First-Class Honours from Nottingham University Medical School in 1998, also completing comprehensive urology training.
At Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, Tom serves as the Lead Cancer Clinician for Urology and Director of the Nottingham Fellowship in Robotic and Laparoscopic Urology. To date, he has performed over 1000 robotic prostatectomy and 250 robotic kidney surgery cases.
