Christopher Stapleton

Osteopathy

Bio

Christopher's work as an osteopath has always been shaped by curiosity, careful listening and a respect for the individuality of each person he sees. Since graduating from the British School of Osteopathy in 1997, he has been in full-time practice in Nottingham, supporting people of all ages through thoughtful, attentive osteopathic care.

Over the years, Christopher's approach has evolved towards a slower and more considered style of treatment; one that values understanding before intervention and aims to create a calm therapeutic space where meaningful change can take place.

Alongside clinical practice, he teaches post-graduate cranial osteopathy at both the Vienna School of Osteopathy and the Rollin E. Becker Institute; a UK-wide post-graduate training organisation. Teaching has become an important part of Christopher's professional life, allowing him to share and develop gentler osteopathic approaches with other practitioners.

Christopher has a particular clinical interest in conditions involving the ear, nose and throat, such as helping patients manage chronic eustachian dysfunction and tinnitus, sinus conditions and recurrent ear problems such as otitis media in childhood. He oftens sees challenging chronic conditions such as headaches, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, TMJ disorders and atypical facial pain. At the same time, his work remains grounded in nearly three decades of general osteopathic practice, supporting adults, babies, children and people with active lifestyles.

Feel free to call on 07887 760786 if you wish to discuss your symptoms prior to booking.

Alongside areas of special interest, Christopher provides the full range of general osteopathic care, supporting people with spinal and joint discomfort, postural strain and sports-related injuries.

Treatment is always guided by safe, effective osteopathic principles, combining clinical reasoning with an emphasis on understanding how the body functions as a whole.
