Ben Sherwood is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in urology and men's health.
He graduated from Nottingham Medical School in 1998 and completed his initial surgical training in the Trent region.

In 2002, he was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the British Urological Foundation and undertook a 2 year research program into bladder cancer, leading to the award of his MD. He then undertook a year of training in New Zealand, at Auckland City Hospital, before completing his higher surgical training in the East Midlands.
Ben is passionate about teaching and is heavily involved in teaching medical students and the next generation of urologists. He provides training in robotic prostate surgery to international visiting fellows. He has published widely in the scientific literature and is the author of several book chapters.
